Just finished one of my college application essays -- no, I really mean it this time. I does need some revision, but hey! The first draft is done, anyway, and that's the hardest part for me.

I braved shopping traffic yesterday and bought Wheelock's Latin, which is wonderful. It goes into pronunciation, etymology, and some actual literature. I am a happy camper.

Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be having much time to study Latin until after Chrismas. (::pushes up glasses::) College applications are due 15 December, and my ACTs are on the 13th. I haven't been studying for the ACTs as much as I should have been, so in these last two weeks I'm going to be cramming. It's my punishment for procrastinating.
