All my classes are finished but Algebra II, and that'll be done early next week. It's unreal how fast this year has gone by. It's all over. The emotion of it hasn't sunk in yet, though. It's as though I've fooled myself into thinking I'll be back next year.

We've really gone all out for this graduation thing. Dress, shoes, makeup, and all. I might walk too fast down the aisle; I might trip on the steps up to the podium; I might stutter during my speech; but god damn it, I'm going to look good doing it. When I do a face plant at the bottom of those steps, people are going to turn to one another and say, "My, doesn't she have lovely shoes."
