Nothing much happening in the World o' Bess. Fall break started today. I get the next two days off. I plan to do homework and play video games. Exciting.

I've been playing a game called Europa Universalis II, which makes the Civilization series look overly simple; I still haven't quite managed to make a profit, but I'm only losing 1.7 ducats a month instead of 8.4, so I suppose that's an improvement. Here's a bad and a good review. I enjoy the game so far, but it's hard to say yet whether it has the replay value that the Civ games do.

I love this frog. It looks like its name should be Wilfred.
