Indianapolis is not a city that smiles upon those wishing to travel by means other than automobile.
In an attempt to make transportation to and from college less of an issue this coming year, I pulled on my helmet and set forth in the hopes that the two miles separating Butler University and my house would be an interval easily traversed by bicycle.
This was not the case.
By the time I reached my destination, I had sweat through my shirt, gravel had been kicked up into my eye, my tires had gone almost entirely flat, and worst of all, no fewer than seven geese had looked at me with contempt.
I may try again on a cool day and a route with fewer geese.
