Media reporting from Iraq is one-sided and flawed

I believe this to be true. The very idea that the media, or portions of it, might be distorting the Iraq situation makes my blood boil. Glenn Reynolds brought this up a week ago on his blog, and it has been bothering me ever since. It occurred to me that I don't hear any news about Iraq unless someone dies -- that can't be right. There should be more to it -- there is more to it, and I shouldn't have to go out of my way to find out about it.

I'm voting in the next election. Iraq is going to be a major issue in the Presidential race, and dammit, I'd like to know what I'm talking about.
