The weather today was divine, and to mark this occaision, a friend and I played basketball for an hour in the cool air.
"When I was a child I idolized Magic Johnson."
"Uh, not to crush your dreams or anything, but aren't you, like, 5'4"?"
"So? What about that short guy in the NBA? Penny Wossname."
"Penny Hardaway is 6'7"."
"Oh."
When we were done, I had the impulse to walk up to the hoop and flip off the power.
I really need to get out more.
