I am extremely disappointed to find that The Play What I Wrote didn't win "Best Theatrical Event" at this year's Tonys. Which really just adds insult to injury, because "Theatrical Event"!? It had been considered a play across the pond. Toby Jones, one -- ok, the only, supporting actor, won an Olivier award for his performance in London. Unfortunately, since The Play What I Wrote was classified as a Theatrical Event none of the cast or crew could receive any nominations for their outstanding work, and it certainly was outstanding. At least in my opinion.

I was privileged enough to catch the show on Broadway during my spring break. Wish I could see it again.
