To top off an already crummy day, I got ripped to shreads by my cat. I had decided to give her a bath because the flea medication we'd put betweeen her shoulders seemed to be bothering her a great deal. Now, Lily May has never liked baths, but she's never been aggressive about it. I mean, she usually just complains a lot and tries to climb up the sides of the tub. This time she complained a lot and tried to climb up my right arm.

She got me good. Little bit of bleeding, lots of scratches, and about ten puncture marks. I never knew bathing a cat could be so exhausting. And if that's not enough, I think that medication is still bothering her, anyway. Poor tormented kitty.

I've changed back into pajamas. I hadn't intended to leave the house again today, but it looks like I'm going out to see a movie this evening. I haven't done that in months. I think we're seeing "The Hulk." Ang Lee, the director, intrigues me. I can't quite wrap my mind around the fact that he was responsible for both "Sense and Sensibility" and "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon."
