My mom and I start our pilgrimage down to Florida to see relatives tomorrow. I haven't seen my cousin and uncle in a year and a half, and I'm looking forward to the visit. The drive is going to be mind-numbingly long (13 hours, 800 miles), and the weather down there during the summer is just intolerably hot, but I have every intention of having a good time. I just hope the car holds out. (It's going to break down just because I said that, just to spite me, you know.)
