If only...

Ain't it the truth?

In other news, I seemed to be covered in poison ivy. And here, after 3 weeks of rolling in it, I'd begun to think I had some kind of inherent resistance to the plant. Hah! I now have two small but growing patches on my fore-arms and a respectable welt on my right cheek.

Such is life.

My Birthday was yesterday. The Big 2-0. Took a small group bowling because I'm cool like that. I quickly discovered that I am not, as I had assumed, God's gift to bowling. But that's okay. No one else was either, and we all gloried in our failure together, as good friends should.

Later that night I went to the Goo Goo Dolls and Counting Crows concert with a friend and a handful of coworkers. We alternately sat and danced on the lawn as we people watched (oh the drunken wonders!), sky gazed (the most beautiful clouds I've ever seen!), and occaisionally listened to music. The Goo Goo Dolls weren't that impressive, but the Counting Crows were something of a religious experience.

Truly.

I'd let Adam Duritz have my babies if Trisha hadn't already called dibbs.
