The only horoscope page I ever check.
Just got back from one of those fabled "long walks" of mine. In ninety degree weather. (I never claimed the gift of foresight.) It felt nice anyway. Especially after being unspeakably lazy all of yesterday.
My boss told me to do no work this weekend. Yes, it's that bad. Only two weeks left, which is a blessing or a curse depending how you look at it. I'm sitting on my heels for the time being -- there's nothing else I can do, really. For the moment I have to concentrate on helping my student on his project whilst I wait for the completion of other research I depend on. In short, blech.
Quit my archive job for the semester. Financial aid rocked my socks to the point that I don't really need work. (SQUEEE!!) In any case, the archive couldn't afford to keep me there, and at least this way I don't have to say I was layed off. Can't decided if I want a job or not. It is so very tempting to just relax for a semester.
No real news outside of work. Things just are. OH! But I did see Ghost in the Shell earlier this week with my favorite group of alpaca farmers. Yay for body as metaphor! Def thesis material. Fo' sho'.
